Principal Note

Dear parents:

Good afternoon! Next week is TerraNova testing time. TerraNova tests provide a standardized way to compare students to each other across the nation. Results are used for gifted identification, projections and to calculate growth and T-CAP results.

Monday: 6& 7 Reading and Language
Tuesday: 6 & 7 Math
Wednesday: 6&7 Science and Social Studies; 8 Social Studies
Thursday: InView (a test of cognitive skills)

We will follow an adjusted schedule. Please make sure students arrive to school on time as we begin testing at 8:00. We test for approximately 2 hours. We feel our students are well prepared to show their skills and knowledge and ask that you remind them to get a good night sleep and eat a healthy breakfast (as I am sure you do every day).

Enjoy the sun!
Kathy McFarland, Principal
