Patriot Parent – March 14
Greetings Patriot Parents
It is the final week of the third quarter and the week leading into Spring Break! Our testing week went well. We appreciate the student’s flexibility and patience during testing week. Being off of our regular schedule is hard for the kids so it will be nice to be back to normal.
The upcoming week is a hard week for our students because the excitement of a vacation is on the horizon and it is also the final week of the third grading period. It is very important for our students to focus on academics so that they complete everything prior to the end of the marking period. You may wish to ask your child about any projects that are due, about end of quarter tests or quizzes that may be scheduled, and about any missing assignments that must be made up before the end of the quarter. Help your child make a plan for the week that accounts for all of their academic commitments. A five-day plan is manageable for a teenager and this extra effort can pay off in improved grades for the quarter. Trust me that this bit of extra effort will be worthwhile.
I hope you are able to enjoy some relaxing family time together during Spring Break and that we all return re-energized for the last quarter of the school year.
Sincerely,
Mark Raiff
