Fundraising totals will be coming to you in the next several weeks as we are waiting on Kroger’s final totals. Fundraising totals should not impact many people’s second payments. If for some reason you accidently pay over the amount of the trip, Prodigy Student Travel will refund whatever the overage is to you.

Everything regarding yearbooks: group photos, order deadline and cover art contest has been rescheduled for Thursday, February 25th.

Due to Parent/Teacher conferences, the BBBS meeting has been relocated to room 117E in the 8th grade hallway. Students can find Mr. Hinds or Ms. Hurst if they need help finding the room.

I know many people are wondering about their fundraising totals for Washington D.C. Updates are coming in the next few weeks. Kroger changed their system and only sends out fundraising money twice a year, with reports ending on January 31 and July 31. Kroger is committed to having the paperwork and checks sent out one month after those dates. So the deadlines we worked with in the past are delayed. For most students, this should not impact your second D.C. payment of $175.00 sent to Prodigy Student Travel (with you child’s name and Shanahan Middle School in the memo box) by the 26th of February. If for some reason you pay over the amount of the trip, Prodigy will refund the overage to you.

Let me know if you have any questions

Thanks,
Eric Hanna
