Notes from the School Nurse
May 18, 2012
If your child has medication left in the clinic, please pick it up prior to the summer break. Medication will be disposed of during June if prior arrangements are not made with clinic personnel.
As a reminder, new medication forms are required every school year. A physician’s written order is required for any prescription medication at school, whether it is administered in the clinic or self-administered by the student. Middle and high school students are permitted to carry and self-administer non-prescription medication with a signed parent consent form. A physician’s form is required for non-prescription medication for elementary students. Forms are available on the website at this link.
If your child requires diabetic care, an inhaler, and/or emergency treatment for an allergy, you may also access the forms online at the same location. School personnel are not permitted to give expired medication; therefore, be aware of the expiration dates of all medication.
Please contact the school office or clinic staff if you have any questions.

7th Grade Softball Results
May 10, 2012
The 7th grade girls softball team played an outstanding game last and beat the Worthington Cardinals 8-1. Kayla B. pitched a great game striking out 4 batters from the mound. At bat, Sydney W. had 3 hits and added 2 runs, Sydney H.added 2 runs, and Gillian F. had 2 RBI’s. Defensively, the Scouts were on fire! Kristen B. had a double play off of a hustle catch from the outfield, Sydney W.also turned a double play after a catch and rundown with a Cardinal, and Gillian F. and Maddy C. had a textbook “pickle” play that resulted in an out.
The Scouts improve their record to 6-3 and take on Olentangy Berkshire tonight at home starting at 4:30. Go Scouts!
