Important Dates

Monday, Feb. 20 No school – President’s Day

Learn about the college and career readiness programs available to Olentangy students during a community forum on Monday, February 6 from 7 until 9 p.m. at Olentangy Liberty High School, 3584 Home Road in Powell. Superintendent Wade Lucas, Ed.D. and representatives from the Ohio Department of Education, Delaware Area Career Center, Ohio Wesleyan University, Otterbein University and Columbus State Community College will discuss the district’s educational partnerships and ways families may be able to save on college tuition costs.

The OHS Boys and Girls lacrosse teams are selling mulch – now through February 24 – as a team fundraiser. The teams are selling a good product, for a great cause, and delivery is free!~ To order, please see any boys or girls team player – or contact Lacrosse Booster President, Brian Kigar, at president@olentangy-lax.com for product/ordering information.

Basketball

The 7th grade boys basketball team was defeated last night by Dublin Grizzell in hard fought game. The boys never gave up and fought to the very end. Congratulations on a great season!

The 8th grade girls basketball team pulled out a tough victory over Westerville Blendon, 29-28, to advance to the finals of the Westerville tournament. The Scouts play Liberty on Saturday. The game is at Westerville Heritage beginning at 2:30 pm.

Basketball Update

The 7th grade girls basketball team played a great game last night beating Hyatts 27-19 in tournament action. The Scouts will play for 5th place in the tournament on Saturday at 11:15 am at Marysville. Go Scouts!!

Basketball Results

The 7th grade girls basketball team lost a hard fought game last night 25-27 to Gahanna East. The Scouts came back from a 3-10 deficit early in the first quarter to take a 16-14 lead at half time. The Scouts continued to play hard in the second half but came up short. The girls had a great game and left everything they had out on the court. The Scouts are in action again tonight at Marysville at 5pm. GOOD LUCK SCOUTS!!

The 7th grade boys basketball team defeated Big Walnut last night. A total team effort led them to huge victory. They will continue tournament play Thursday evening against Dublin Grizzell Middle School.

The 8th grade girls basketball team advanced to the semi-finals of the Westerville tournament with a 33-15 victory over Gahanna East. The team will play Blendon tomorrow night at Heritage at 6:30.

Basketball Update

The 8th grade girls basketball team advanced to the second round of the Westerville Tournament with a victory over Mt. Vernon, 39-9. The Scouts play Gahanna East at 6:30 pm tomorrow night at Walnut Springs.

The 7th grade girls basketball team defeated Big Walnut 31-24 in tournament action on Saturday. The Scouts next game is tomorrow night vs. Gahanna East at Marysville at 5:00. Go Scouts!

The 7th grade boys basketball team lost a heartbreaker on Saturday. They continue tournament play against Big Walnut Tuesday evening.

The 7th grade girls basketball team lost a close game to Liberty last night with a score of 22-16. The Scouts had a great regular season and end with a 9-7 record. For the tournament, the Scouts play Big Walnut on Saturday morning at 9:00am at Marysville. Good luck girls and go Scouts!

The 8th grade girls basketball team lost to Liberty last night. The team plays Mt. Vernon at Walnut Springs tomorrow beginning at 2:30 pm.

The 7th grade boys basketball team was defeated by Liberty last night in a hard fought game. The scouts will start tournament play this Saturday against Dublin Davis Middle School.

The boys 8th grade basketball team beat Liberty last night 47-45 in an exciting overtime game. Thanks to all the students and faculty that came out to support the team.
