Superintendent Updates Community Regarding All-Day Kindergarten

Six Olentangy Students Earn Perfect Scored on Ohio Achievement Tests

Six Olentangy third-grade students earned perfect scores on the fall 2009 Ohio Achievement Test in reading. Only 0.2 percent of the 128,462 students in the state who took this test earned a perfect score.

Bus Driver Named ‘Work Place Hero’ by American Red Cross

The Delaware County chapter of the American Red Cross named Olentangy bus driver Peggy Trimmer a 2009 Work Place Hero. Trimmer is credited with helping rescue two young women who fell into the frozen Olentangy River last winter. When Trimmer noticed the women in need, she stopped her school bus, shouted directions to the women and called for help. Trimmer’s award is sponsored by the Delaware Area Career Center.
