Delaware General Health District H1N1 Flu Clinics
The Delaware General Health District is continuing to provide free H1N1 Flu immunizations by appointment. The H1N1 vaccine is now available to all persons regardless of risk categories.
Appointments are available as follows:
- At Delaware General Health District Adult Walk-In Clinics, 3 W. Winter St., Delaware, on all weekday mornings from 7:30 to 9 a.m. and on the last Tuesday of each month from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
- At all Delaware General Health District Child Immunization Clinics, held at 3 W. Winter St., Delaware, every Thursday from 1 to 4 p.m., the second Saturday of each month from 9 a.m. to noon; and the last Tuesday of each month from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.; at the Sunbury United Methodist Church, 100 E. Cherry St., Sunbury, on the second Tuesday of each month from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.; and at the Genoa Township Community Hall, 5111 S. Old 3C Highway, Westerville, the third Wednesday of each month from 2 to 4 p.m.
- At all Delaware General Health District Neighborhood Health Centers, which are listed at www.delawarehealth.org
To make an appointment, log on to www.delawarehealth.org and follow the link. Please read the “Helpful Hints” before you try to schedule. In addition to the appointment, please download a consent form, complete it, and bring it to the clinic.
If you do not have internet access, phone the Health District at 740-368-1700 and a receptionist will help you make an appointment.
The Delaware General Health District continues to urge H1N1 immunizations for the following groups at greatest risk for complications from flu:
- Pregnant women
- People who live with or care for babies under 6 months old
- Children and young adults ages 6 months through 24 years
- Persons aged 25-64 with chronic medical conditions (bring list of medications)
- Health care providers
Children under 10 should receive two doses of H1N1 vaccine, the second 28 days after the first.
Persons wanting the H1N1 vaccine are encouraged to pre-register online via the link – https://h1n1vaccine.odh.ohio.gov/ - and bring their pre-registration form to the clinic.
