A group of students in the fourth and fifth grades at Arrowhead Elementary School (AES) conducted their own, personally written mock trials in the Delaware Municipal Courthouse this spring. This opportunity allows students to have a first-hand experience of how the legal system can impact a person’s life. It also supports the study of the Ohio legal system and the language arts curriculum benchmark of using persuasive strategies.
