Olentangy High School (OHS) will present the musical Oklahoma! at 7 p.m. on Friday, April 23 and Saturday, April 24. There will be a 2 p.m. matinee on Sunday, April 25. Tickets cost $8 for adults and $5 for students and senior citizens. Olentangy Rewards Card members will be admitted for free. To reserve your seats call (740) 657-4191.
Olentangy Liberty High School (OLHS) theater students will perform Grease at 7 p.m. on Friday, April 30; Saturday, May 1; Friday, May 7; and Saturday, May 8. A special 2 p.m. family matinee on Sunday, May 2 will include a 1950’s costume contest and a sing-a-long. Tickets cost $10 for adults and $5 for students. Two Olentangy students placed first in their categories in the Central Ohio Writing Competition. A Glen Oak Elementary School (GOES) student, won the fourth-grade non-fiction category with his piece entitled “Parasailing.” An Olentangy Hyatts Middle School (OHMS) student, earned first place in the eighth-grade non-fiction category for her piece entitled “Common Survival – Earthquake in Haiti.” Another OHMS student was the runner-up in the sixth-grade non-fiction category for her piece entitled “Anne Frank.” [Read more…]
