Olentangy Local Schools today hosted a delegation of more than 70 educators sponsored by the International Alliance for Invitational Education (IAIE). The visiting educators are principals and teachers from Hong Kong and mainland China.
The visitors began their day by meeting with district administrators to discuss topics of mutual interest, including formative assessment and its implementation in the classroom. The delegation then split into groups to visit Olentangy Orange High School (OOHS), Olentangy Orange Middle School (OOMS) or Olentangy Meadows Elementary School (OMES). While at the schools, the guests met with the principals and observed classrooms. After the building visits, the groups reconvened at the district’s administrative offices to share their observations.
