All three Olentangy high schools will take part in the 2009 OhioHealth High School Football Series at Crew Stadium. Olentangy High School (OHS) and Olentangy Liberty High School (OLHS) will face off at 6 p.m. on Friday, October 2. Olentangy Orange High School (OOHS) will take on the New Albany Eagles at 9 p.m. that night. Both games will be televised via tape-delay by ONN-TV.
“This is an exciting opportunity for our student athletes, cheerleaders and band members,” said Superintendent Wade Lucas, Ed.D. “Playing in a major-league venue will be a memorable experience for our students and the entire community.”
Crew Stadium is home to the Columbus Crew of Major League Soccer and seats more than 20,000 people. Tickets are valid for both games and cost $5 for students and $8 for adults. Tickets are available through all three Olentangy high schools in the weeks preceding the game. Olentangy athletic programs receive a portion of the proceeds from all tickets purchased at the schools. Please contact the individual athletic office for information.
