Registration is open for the 11th Annual Olentangy Education Foundation (OEF) Golf Outing to be held on Monday, September, 27, 2010 at The Lakes Golf & Country Club. Plans are in place for a great day of golf and community connection in support of OEF’s mission.
OEF is an independent, non-profit organization of volunteer community members that raises funds in support of Olentangy Local Schools and students. Proceeds are used to award teacher grants for innovative educational programs that are not funded by the school system’s budget, and scholarships for graduating seniors. In 2010, more than $30,000 in teacher grants and scholarships were awarded. Since 2001, the total amount funded by OEF is approaching $300,000. Participants in the event will enjoy:
- an 18 hole scramble event at The Lakes Golf & Country Club including golf, cart, range and locker privileges;
- gourmet lunch buffet prior to the event and on course beverages;
- golfer gift;
- heavy hors d’oeuvres and reception following play; and,
- silent auction.
If you cannot participate, there are other ways to support the event, which include Family or Corporate Hole Sponsors, Event Sponsorship or donation of prizes or auction items.
