Olentangy will open kindergarten registration for the 2010-11 school year on Wednesday, February 17 at 8 a.m. At that time parents may call the New Student Welcome Center at (740) 657-4030 or (740) 657-4033 to obtain a personal identification number (PIN). The PIN will allow families to begin the registration process.
In order to make this process as easy as possible for families, the New Student Welcome Center will offer extended hours from February 17 through February 24. During that time, the center will be open from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. Beginning February 25, the center will return to its normal hours of operation, 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.
Once parents have obtained a PIN from the New Student Welcome Center, they will use that number to access an online registration system and enter basic demographic, health and emergency contact information. After completing the online registration forms, parents will be prompted to schedule an appointment for kindergarten registration days at the school their child will attend. Please note that the district has created new attendance boundaries at the elementary level for the 2010-11 school year. Registration for grades one through 12 for the 2010-11 school year will begin April 5.
