Olentangy’s Parent Programs Team (PPT) invites all parents to attend an honest discussion on Bully-Proofing Youth. This 90-minute workshop focuses on helping parents to:
- learn what dynamics create bully and victim behaviors;
- encourage students to leave or not enter the victimized group;
- identify ways to offer support at home; and,
- understand what to do if a child is being physically bullied.
The presentation features Jim Bisenius who has 13 years of experience as a child and adolescent therapist specializing in teaching extremely targeted youth how to handle bullying situations. Parents may ask questions and seek answers from an expert in the field. Free babysitting is available.
