Superintendent Wade Lucas, Ed.D., recently visited with students at Tyler Run Elementary School (TRES) who are studying data analysis and learning to be educated consumers of information. Dr. Lucas gave some practical examples of how the district uses data to compare its progress with similar districts. Teacher Rebecca Dittman said the overall message of the unit was to understand why it is so important to know what questions to ask about data and how to make reasonable inferences from that information.
