Dozens of Olentangy teachers are volunteering to spend part of their summer learning how to make their classes available to more students. The Olentangy Online Academy is providing teachers with an in-depth look at the best practices involved with online teaching and learning. After the initial three-day course, teachers will begin creating their own online class.
Olentangy already offers two online technology classes for middle school students, and an online personal finance and post-secondary planning class for high school students. The online option allows students to explore classes that might not otherwise fit into their schedules.
