The Olentangy Local School District is proud to announce that the Tyler Run Elementary School (TRES) Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) has been selected as the 2010 National Parent Group of the Year by PTO Today magazine.
PTO Today received approximately 500 entries from across the country for this award. The TRES PTO was selected based upon its “creative approaches to events, its strong parent involvement and its service to others.”
PTO Today will present the TRES PTO with its award on Friday, September 24. The presentation will help kick off the school’s fourth annual Walk-A-Thon, during which students take a one-mile, supervised walk through the neighborhood to reinforce the importance of making healthy choices and staying physically fit.
