OOAB Boosters Meeting
February 3, 2012
Monday, February 13, 7:30 p.m.
Orange High School Commons
As we enter the month of February (with more mid-50′s weather coming our way), our upcoming General Boosters meeting on Monday, February 13 is a must attend session as we’re now well into the 2011-2012 winter athletics season. In addition to a winter sports update we have a special guest joining us: Dr. Wade Lucas, Olentangy Local School District Superintendent. Dr. Lucas will address your questions regarding the school district, our athletics program, as well as your interest in the ongoing work of the Olentangy Turf Committee. Mike Bull and his Turf Committee team members will also be providing a strategic update on their activities and progress with the ongoing Olentangy turf initiative. Given our special guests and the Turf Committee update, we’re looking for and would greatly appreciate a strong turnout by our booster liaisons, parents, supporters, and all available coaches.
Thanks for your ongoing support,
Mark McHale

Pennies for Patients
February 2, 2012
The OOMS Guidance Office is sponsoring Pennies for Patients February 6 – 24. Pennies for Patients is a fundraiser to support the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in hopes of finding a cure for Leukemia, Lymphoma and Myeloma. The money goes toward central Ohio children. All students received boxes last week. Students can bring their boxes of spare change to advisory beginning Monday, February 6. Students should not go door to door.
The advisory collecting the most spare change will win a pizza party! Should the school reach their overall goal, Mr. Lidle will shave his head!
