Our curriculum night will be held on Tuesday, September 1, 2009 from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. This is a great opportunity to meet your child’s teachers and to hear about curriculum and classroom expectations. Due to the large number of parents expected to attend, please be mindful of our tight time schedule and our need to turn over parking spaces.

Curriculum Night is not an opportunity for individual parent-teacher conferences. Our fall conferences will take place on Thursday, October 1, and Wednesday, October 7 from 4:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. Scheduling for conferences will begin on September 22.

The Welcome Desk is seeking a few more volunteers to help with greeting and directing visitors throughout the school year. We work in 2 hour shifts, either once a week or every-other-week, and it is a great opportunity to get to know the staff and students. We had an outstanding day yesterday for the first day of the 2009/2010 school year! As always, Orange Middle school students are amazing!
