Track & Field: There will be a parent meeting today at 6pm in the Liberty Middle School gymnasium. ATHLETES MAY STAY AFTER PRACTICE IF YOU WISH!

For those incoming 7th grade boys that are interested in trying out for the school basketball team next season, there will be a meeting in Mr. Cikach’s room (130) this Friday during advisory regarding summer camp dates. Please stop by your advisory first for attendance. See Mr. Cikach sometime next week if you are absent or are making up terra nova tests Friday.

To the parents of rising 7th and 8th grade boys (boys in 7th and 8th grade in 2010 and 2011):
There will be an informational meeting regarding summer basketball camps open gyms for parents of any rising 7th and 8th grade (current 6th and 7th grade) boys on Tuesday, March 30th in the Liberty High School Commons area at 6:00 p.m. Liberty Basketball Camp forms, Eastern Ohio Team Camp forms, summer lifting, and summer open gym schedules will all be passed out at this meeting.

8th grade boys need to turn in their uniforms into Coach Baker immediately.

The meeting is to discuss an option that may be available to next year’s 8th graders to take Level I Foreign Language, Band/Choir/Strings, and the 6 week elective options. Plan to attend if interested or call Gena Williams at 740-657-4401.

TENNIS PRACTICE BEGINS ON MONDAY 3/8: Boy’s tennis will begin mandatory practices on Monday, March 8 from 5-6:30pm on the tennis courts at Orange High School. ~You MUST have all your paperwork turned in or given to the coach prior to practice beginning to participate.

REMINDER TO PARENTS AND STUDENTS: Testing begins next week. Please make sure your student gets a good night’s sleep, gets to school on time, and please schedule any doctor appointments after the first two periods of the day.

ATTENTION 8TH GRADE DRAWING STUDENTS: ALL YOUR INCOMPLETE WORK IS DUE TODAY, FRIDAY, MARCH 5TH BY THE END OF THE DAY! SEE MRS. KARDAS WHETHER YOU HAVE YOUR DRAWING(S) HERE OR NOT.

Baseball open gym has to be over tonight at 5:45. We will still start at 4:45, and all those coming for just conditioning can come 5:15 – 5:45. Tryouts start next week right after school. Look for a schedule to come home tonight!
