News and Announcements from OLMS

Olentangy Liberty High School is truly blessed to have numerous parents who volunteer their time here at the school in various capacities. We are now looking for new and returning parents to continue this great tradition next year. Any parents interested in helping out during the 2012-2013 school year should contact Nancy Kaufmann at 614-885-9981.

Relay for Life Update

Thanks go out to everyone who donated or participated in our Relay for Life event this year! Together, we raised $2,178.00 that will go to the American Cancer Society on behalf of Liberty Middle School! At the Relay event this weekend, we had students, teachers, principals, and parents come out to walk and volunteer over 18 hours to help raise money for our team. Thank you to all of you for your time, energy, and support during this event. Between all of the Olentangy schools and various businesses, the Olentangy Relay raised over $99,000! Great teamwork OLMS!

As a reminder, new medication forms are required every school year. A physician’s written order is required for any prescription medication at school, whether it is administered in the clinic or self-administered by the student. Middle and high school students are permitted to carry and self-administer non-prescription medication with a signed parent consent form. A physician’s form is required for non-prescription medication for elementary students. Forms are available on the website at this link.

If your child requires diabetic care, an inhaler, and/or emergency treatment for an allergy, you may also access the forms online at the same location. School personnel are not permitted to give expired medication; therefore, be aware of the expiration dates of all medication.
Please contact the school office or clinic staff if you have any questions.
