If all other attempts to modify student behavior are unsuccessful, or a serious violation of the student behavior code is committed, the student may be recommended for expulsion from school. If a student is expelled, the length of the expulsion may be up to one hundred and eighty (180) school days and may extend into the following semester or school year. Schoolwork missed as a result of expulsion may not be made up.
