Department of Operations and Facilities

The Operations and Facilities Department is responsible for all aspects of Olentangy’s current and future school and office facilities. The department also oversees Maintenance, Custodial and Grounds, as well as Operations, Food Service and Transportation for the district. The Operations and Facilities Department works closely with local government officials on building inspection and zoning. The department also works closely with the Development Committee, which is a group of 20 community members who support the administration’s and school board’s efforts in the long-range projections of school enrollment, land acquisition to support facility needs, and design and construction of school buildings.
